Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all agreements between you (“the Customer”) and Windows and Doors Leeds (“we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding the supply and installation of windows and doors in the United Kingdom. By accepting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Quotations and Orders
• All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• Acceptance of a quote must be in writing (email or signed document).
• Orders are only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (if required).
3. Pricing and Payment
• All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• A deposit of [e.g. 25%] is required at the time of order.
• Final payment is due upon completion of the installation, unless otherwise agreed.
• We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Installation
• We aim to carry out installations on the agreed date, but delays due to weather, supply issues, or other unforeseen circumstances may occur.
• The Customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the property.
• Any preparatory work (e.g. moving furniture, removing blinds) must be done prior to our arrival unless agreed otherwise.
5. Warranty and Guarantees
• Our products come with a [e.g. 10-year] manufacturer’s guarantee.
• Installation workmanship is guaranteed for [e.g. 2 years] from the date of completion.
• Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
• Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of signing the contract, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• Cancellations after this period may incur charges for any costs incurred.
• Custom-made products are non-refundable once manufacturing has begun.
7. Liability
• We will not be held liable for any damage caused by structural defects in the property or any pre-existing conditions.
• Our total liability is limited to the value of the contract.
8. Complaints
• We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Please contact us in writing with any issues.
• If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Refund Policy
At Windows and Doors Leeds we aim to provide high-quality windows and doors along with expert installation services. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Cancellation and Refunds (Before Installation)
• If you place an order with us and later change your mind, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of signing the contract, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email or letter) within this 14-day period.
• If work or manufacturing has already begun during this period (with your written consent), you may be responsible for any costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
2. Custom-Made Products
• As all of our windows and doors are made to measure and customised to your requirements, they are exempt from the standard “cooling-off” return rights once production has started.
• We cannot offer refunds or accept returns for custom products unless they are faulty or not as described.
3. Refunds Due to Faults or Issues
• If the product is found to be faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial/full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• Any faults must be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time of discovery.
• We will inspect the issue and aim to resolve it promptly.
4. Deposits
• Deposits are generally non-refundable once the cooling-off period has passed and materials have been ordered or manufacturing has commenced.
• If your order is cancelled within the cooling-off period and work has not begun, a full refund of your deposit will be issued.
5. Installation Issues
• If there is a problem with the installation (e.g. poor workmanship), we will first attempt to rectify the issue at no extra cost.
• If a resolution cannot be reached, a partial refund may be considered depending on the circumstances.
6. Processing Refunds
• Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 14 business days of agreement.
